Come along for an evening of great food and entertainment. The tickets cost just £10 and will cover food and musical entertainment. There will also be a raffle on the night. The Restaurant are generously donating food towards the evening. Tickets are available from Senghenydd Community Centre and Castle Gate Restaurant.
Fundraising is for the first Welsh National Mining Memorial to be unveiled on the 100th anniversary of Senghenydd's Universal Colliery disaster this October (which was the largest in Great Britain killing 440 men and boys). This will include a Memorial Wall (ceramic name tile for each victim made by school children and volunteers) and a central bronze figurative sculpture.
