Roll up, roll up and make your way down to the scenic town of Usk for a one week festival of Open gardens, Sculpture trails, Guided walks, Vintage cars, Circus, Minor County Cricket, Teddy Bears picnic, tank driving (!)...we could go on! In fact, we will. There are also Jazz bands, Scout campfire, It's a Knockout Rugby, Glider flights Tea Dance, Circus Events a duck race and did we mention tank driving?
Usk has won the 'Large Village' category of Britain in Bloom 4 times, so you know we will pull out all the stops to make your visit fantastic, but we have also teamed up with a couple of other events to ensure full value at our festival.
First up, Usk Open Gardens (23rd & 24th June) will give you a chance to explore the many beautiful gardens that makes Usk such a hit with the Britain in bloom judges. A ticket costs £7.50 to access all the gardens, and make sure to view the fantastic foliage in Usk Castle!
And best of all is the John Lawsons Circus Big Top on the Market Field. First settle down for a night of Jazz in the Big Top on the 28th June, and then on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday (29th - 1st July) enjoy the acrobatic wonder of the circus!
We are also working with the Monmouthshire Walking Festival, whose June event runs from 22nd June - 1st July. With walks across Monmouthshire, as well as events such as the Summer Solstice Party at Usk Rural Life Museum, it truly is the best way to explore Monmouthshire.
