Monday 6th August Let's Go Fly a Kite! 10:00 - 12:30pm Make and decorate your own kite. Sessions start at 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30 and 12:00. 1:30 - 4:00pm Bring your own kite and join us on the Events Arena for a mass kite flying session.

Tuesday 7th August The Art of Bush Craft A series of workshops run throughout the day covering a wide range of bush craft activities. (Workshops will last 45 mins to 1hour) 10:00am Make wooden mallets and tent pegs to use later when building a shelter 10:30am Try your hand at willow weaving and make your own star wand to take home. 11:00am Learn how to create a quick shelter out in the woods using rope and tarpaulins. 11:30am Learn how to safely build a fire and get it started without matches and then try some quick campfire cooking! 12:00 Make your own artists charcoal and have a go at creating your own masterpiece. 1:30pm Wooden mallets and tent pegs 2:00pm Willow Weaving 2:30pm Shelter Building 3:00pm Fire Lighting 3:30pm Charcoal Making & Drawing

Wednesday 8th August 1.30 - 4.00pm Reach for the Skies Can you reach the top of CCBC's Outdoor Education Service Climbing Wall? Can you discover the wildlife on Countryside Collector's Trail? 7:00pm - 10:00pm Bat Walk Join us for some family fun on this nighttime walk through the park in search of bats and learn more about their fascinating lives. Meet at the Education Centre for some fun and games before setting off into the park at dusk. (Weather permitting).

Thursday 9th August 10:00 - 12:30pm Minibeast Mayhem Come and find the extraordinary life in the undergrowth. 1:30 - 4:00pm Pond Safari Come and find what is lurking in our ponds! Learn a few secrets about their mysterious lifecycles and make a minibeast to take home.

Friday 10th August 10:00 - 12:30pm Treasure Trail Can you solve the puzzles along our Treasure Trail? 1:30 - 4:00pm Willow Weaving Have a go at willow weaving and make your own mini garden sculpture to take home. You can even help us to build a new community art work which will be displayed in the Country Park!
