Llandovery Sheep Festival celebrates droving, sheep farming & the wool industry

All weekend the town of Llandovery will be celebrating it's farming routes and connection to the drovers trailsof old.

Highlights of the weekend will include the sheep dog trials, sheep shearing demonstrations and an opportunity to watch the 41st Foot Reinactment Society 'battling' in the middle of the town.

Events include: * National Rare coloured Breeds mart * Weaving/Spinning Demonstrations * Sheep Shearing, Sheep dog trials competition * Guided `drovers' walk * Opportunities to learn more about where wool comes from * Local food including Baaa BQ! * Themed local ales Plus much more!

The festival is delighted to have the patronage of HRH, The Prince of Wales.
