100 Years Of Girl Guides

100 YEARS OF GIRL GUIDES 10 April—13 June Brecknock Museum, along with Girlguiding Breconshire, is proud to present an exhibition celebrating 100 years of the Girl Guides. The exhibition displays a variety of Guiding, Brownies and Rainbows memorabilia spanning the decades, much of which has been kindly loaned or donated to us from local branches and individuals. The exhibition includes uniforms, photographs, personal effects and a reconstructed camping scene. This exhibition is a chance to celebrate 100 years of fun, adventure and friendship for girls of all ages. Brecknock Museum would like to thank Girlguiding Breconshire for all their help and advice, in particular Sue Thorne and Nicole Fletcher, and to Andrew Woodward for providing the camp scene. Thank you also to The Honourable Mrs Legge-Bourke for officially opening the exhibition. Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to the local community for their generosity in loaning or donating their personal Guiding memorabilia.

100 MLYNEDD O'R GEIDIAID 10 Ebrill— 13 Mehefin Mae'n bleser gan Amgueddfa Brycheiniog, ynghyd â Geidiaid Sir Frycheiniog, gyflwyno arddangosfa sy'n dathlu 100 mlynedd o'r Geidiaid. Mae'r arddangosfa'n dangos amrywiaeth o bethau cofiadwy o'r Geidiaid, y Brownis a'r Rainbows dros y degawdau, gyda llawer o bethau wedi'u cyflwyno neu'u benthyg i ni gan ganghennau lleol ac unigolion. Mae'r arddangosfa'n cynnwys gwisgoedd, lluniau, eitemau personol ac ail-greu gwersyll. Dyma gyfle i ddathlu 100 mlynedd o hwyl, antur a chyfeillgarwch i ferched o bob oed. Mae Amgueddfa Brycheiniog am ddiolch i Geidiaid Sir Frycheiniog am eu help a'u cyngor, yn arbennig Sue Thorne a Nicole Fletcher, ac i Andrew Woodward am ail-greu'r gwersyll.
