Brecon Arts Week - ALL WEEK

Brecon Arts Week reaches its third year, and a treasure chest of exhibitions, events, demonstrations and music all week.

Brecon Arts Week runs from 27th October to 4th November, at venues throughout the town centre. Most events are free, but some, such as the workshops, need to be booked in advance and there is a small fee for participants. Brochures will be available from galleries, shops, cafes and all venues.

Overlooking the Conwy estuary, this 18 hole links course has played host to several major championships.

Royal Town of Caernarfon Golf Club

An 18 hole parkland course which was redesigned in 1981 resulting in major improvements in layout.

9 hole parkland. Tight fairways and well-guarded greens provide a test of skill for all standards.

Ffestiniog Golf Club,

A nine hole mountain course, this is the highest golf club in Wales and has many natural features and hazards.

Players are passionate about the game, holidays can be made and ruined by it. Though some say “its a good walk spoilt”. We won’t comment on whether we think North Wales golfers are spoilt but whatever your level there is something for you. Try some of the courses and clubs and see what you think. Most do club hire and all do tuition.
