A 120KM [75MILE] CYCLE RIDE IS BEING ORGANISED BY THE CLUB ON SATURDAY 25TH. SEPTEMBER 2010 UNDER THE RULES OF AUDAX UK [cycling organisation]

The route is : Llandovery, Llangadog, Llanddeusant, Usk Reservoir, Trecastle, Sennybridge, Trallong, Cradoc, Upper Chapel, Builth Wells, Llangammarch Wells, Tirabad, Llandovery

It is over part of this route that Martin Watts introduced Gareth to cycling over 20 years ago.

Audax rides are not races: they are challenging rides over a planned route. All riders are given a route sheet and a card to be signed at controls over the route. Following cars are NOT allowed and riders are expected to be self supporting and carry sufficient items for punctures.
