Children, their teddies and their families can take the train to Abergynolwyn for a fun-filled teddy bears picnic. Children's activities and entertainment will take place at the Railway Adventure Playground. An all inclusive price will get your child a special picnic and a round trip on the train. The rest of the family travel for the normal fare. Adult picnics and a range of hot & cold snacks and drinks can be purchased in the Quarryman's Caban at Abergynolwyn.

A full day of family fun kicks off with a special train from Tywyn hauled by the children's favourite engine. Children's activities, competitions and story reading take place throughout the day at Abergynolwyn station. Children can have their photos taken with Duncan as well as ride on his free shuttle train. Our full Pink timetable will run with 7 return trains and the additional morning special.

A collection of Series One Landrovers will be gathered in the yard at Tywyn Wharf station. There will be a wide range of interesting and different vehicles for you to view. In addition the popular Llechfan Garden railway will be operating model steam trains for your entertainment. As well as the seven return train journeys departing throughout the day, Tywyn Wharf station is also home to the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum, King's Licensed Cafe, and the Railway Shop.
