This is a fantastic spectacle as a competitive field races over three miles and six furlongs with 22 fences to be jumped. This year's race has prize money of £90,000. The race always attracts some of the best staying chasers in training with previous winners including Carvill's Hill, Master Oats, Silver Birch, Earth Summit, Bindaree and Synchronised. Also on the card is the Coral Future Champions Finale Juvenile Hurdle with prize money of £29,500 and the bet On Your Mobile Now At Coral.co.uk Handicap Chase worth £25,000. There will be a friendly festive atmosphere and this meeting is ideal for the whole family to socialise and get some fresh air after Christmas. Travel and Transport Satellite Navigation users, please use the postcode NP16 6BE for the main free car park. A bus shuttle service provided by Newport Transport operates from Chepstow Train Station to the Racecourse via the town's bus station. The service also operates from Newport to the course from the city's train station. Racegoers pay £3 for a return ticket, while those travelling from Newport pay £5 for a return journey.
