Join the Monmouthshire Countryside Service for this 6 mile (9.75 km) walk from Llandegfedd Reservoir through fields, woods and green lanes to Llandegfedd village, returning along the picturesque Sor Brook.
One steep slope and lots of stiles. Bring your own packed lunch and a drink. Assistance dogs only please. Please wear stout walking shoes or boots and waterproof clothing to suit the conditions. From the main road through New Inn follow the sign "Llandegfedd Reservoir 2, Coed y Paen 2.5". After 300 metres turn right at another sign "Llandegfedd Reservoir 2, Coed y Paen 2.5". Follow the road until it crosses over reservoir dam, drive up the hill on the other side and enter the car park on your left after 300 metres (ST 330 986).
