Monmouth Candlelit Procession

At 6 pm the Monmouth Comprehensive's awesome Brass Players will lead us, singing `O Come All Ye Faithful', up Monnow Street to the Christmas tree outside the Shire Hall. There, we'll sing more carols with help from the wonderful Town Band and remember Christmas with Rev. Nick Munday. We hope as many of you as possible will come in fancy dress. There are prizes for the 3 most imaginative costumes and a small treat for everyone who competes.

Come to Old Monnow Bridge at 5.45 pm to collect your candle. Meet Cinderella and her Prince Charming! Admire their pumpkin coach! We all hope Father Christmas will arrive on his sleigh, You can meet him again, later in his grotto in the Shire Hall. Your parent or guardian needs to be with you. They are welcome to join the procession, too!
