Farmer's Markets are an opportunity to buy local produce direct from the producer. There is always a wide range of produce available depending on the season including: apple juice, pork, charcoal, smoked meats and fish. Eggs cheese, sausages, cakes, pottery, bread, mayonnaise, bacon, herbs, preserves, cottage plants, organic fruit and vegetables, organic chutneys and more !

Brecon Farmers Markets are held on the second Saturday of each month (except August) from 9.30am to 2pm in the Market Hall, Brecon. Refreshments and live music. website link BRECON FARMERS MARKET DATES 2012 Jan 14 Feb 11 Mar 10 April 14 May 12 June 9 July 14 Aug 11 Sept 8 Oct 13 Nov 10 Dec 8 Time: 9.30am - 2.00pm. plus extra market Dec 16 (9.30am-1pm). OUTDOOR MARKETS 2012 Extra markets will be held under our gazebos in the pedestrianised areas in town on the fourth Saturday in the month starting in March. April 28 May 26 June 23 July 28 Aug 25 Sept 22 Oct 27 Nov 24 Time: 10am - 2.00pm.

Abergavenny's market is on the 4th Thursday every month, 9.30 -2.30 website link Llandovery is on the last saturday of every month, 9am - 2pm Hay's Farmer's market is every Thursday. website link

The community of Llangynidr hold a Farmers Market on the last Sunday of each month, 11am - 2pm with 20 + stalls selling produce and crafts in the village hall.
