Young Amy doesn't want to move house and she especially doesn't want to move in with Paul, her mother's new partner. She uses her imagination to see how she could get back to her old house using a hot air balloon, a space rocket….a door. When Amy wishes Paul would disappear she gets more than she bargained for. She has to travel into the colourful, dangerous worlds of her imagination and learn to cope with life's changes. The Locked Door is a thrilling modern fairytale combining visual and physical theatre, circus, puppetry and live music. Ages 7+ Though suitable for younger children.
