Medieval Mayhem

Medieval Mayhem is the last of four major events organised by the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Unit and the Heritage Lottery funded scheme Overlooking the Wye. This final event celebrates the AONB designation forty years ago. It also looks back on Overlooking the Wye's work on over forty sites throughout the Wye Valley AONB through four themes Hillforts, River Connections, Hidden Industry and Viewpoints. The event is also part of the Open Doors Days a Civic Trust and Cadw initiative taking place in September. The weekend of the September 18/19 offers the public free access to places and buildings of historic and architectural interest in Chepstow including the Drill Hall and Chepstow Museum. So why not make a family weekend of it.
