Looking for something different to do in the school holidays? Why not venture to the Winding House in New Tredegar and for some fun, `Hands-on History'? Join us for a series of exciting, archaeology activities for all ages from Tuesday 27th - Friday 30th July, as part of the Festival of British Archaeology. Discover the past, learn new skills and explore how our ancestors lived! With mystery objects, fabulous finds, pot-making - and not forgetting the historic winding engine - there's lots to see and do. The sessions are FREE and run from 10am- 5pm. There's no need to book - just drop in and join the fun! The winding engine will run on Friday 30th July at 12pm and 3pm. The Winding House - the museum for Caerphilly County Borough.
